How To Write A Song Step By Step
Dale Said:
writing a paper on the song 'one step at a time'?We Answered:
The theme would be to live life slowly.Great things in life take time, theres no need to rush.
" its like learning to fly, or falling in love" both need to be taken slowly.
the tone I guess is cheerful/ or hopeful.
its a down-to-earth song about living life in the slow lane, appreciate everything and it delivers a positive messege.

Step by step instructions on how to write a song?We Answered:
1, Create poignant and meaningful lyrics - not the crap that everybody else is writing.2. Determine the music structure and form of the song, in relation to the prosodic scheme, verbal rhythm, natural accents, and line length of your lyrics.
3. Compose a melody to work with your lyrics, keeping in mind the melodic contour and rhythmic stress, and how it best accentuates the scheme and mood of the lyrics.
4. As you compose the melody, create a rhythmic and harmonic substructure that enhances your melody.
5. Orchestrate your composition.
6. Rehearse/refine/perform/record/mix/maste… your composition. Better copyright it, too.
7. Hold your breath until you sign a multi-million dollar recording contract - or basically, lather, rinse, repeat.
If this was easy enough to convey in a paragraph over the Net, then everyone would be writing hit songs, and each be famous for their own little 15 minutes. Clearly, it's not that easy - even if you DO really know what you are doing. And - if you gotta ask - you might not be ready yet.

how to write a song step by step?We Answered:
Well while everyone does it differently, people usually just let it flow. BUT to have a really good song, you need a catch phrase, kinda. Don't just go on about how your heart aches or how you're so in love. You need a simile. Such as 'poker face' or 'Bye bye bye' or 'nothing else matters'. A theme.Eva Said:
Can someone give me a step by step tutorial on how to write a metal song on the electric guitar? We Answered:
Well it really depends on what genre of metal you're thinking. But, I can give you an idea I guess:1. In modern metal, it is pretty popular to downtune your guitar anywhere from Eb standard all the way to Drop G# or even lower. It adds a dark and heavy feel. Make sure to get the right gauge strings to compensate for lost tension though.
2. Use power chords and lots of palm muting.
3. Use gallops, trills, and diminished sweeps. Maybe add a solo or a heavy *** breakdown...
4. Work around with the harmonic minor scale and phrygian dominant scale to give a dark sound.
But really your question is too broad to be answered accurately... I gave it a shot though.

how to write a song step-by-step?We Answered:
i never start with they titlei usually first think of what i want to say through the song ie what will it be about? will it be fast or slow? what type of music will it be ie pop rnb dance?
then i think of words/ phrases/sentences that i want to include in it.
i always split it up into 3 sections, a verse a bridge and a chorus, and then deside what goes where at the end.
i tend to start with a verse, because for me the start of the song is always the hardest, getting the wording right and stuff.
it all comes together in the end
hope that helps

Can someone give me a step by step process on how to write a ska song?We Answered:
first, come up with the chord proggression your going to use. After that you should come up with a bass line and drum beat. Create a catchy melody which is crucial for ska. After that you might want to add a bridge or outro. Once you get going, I'm sure it'll all come along easy. I Love Ska! Good luck ;)Leslie Said:
how to compose a song step by step?We Answered:
Here's how I do it:Step 1: You gotta have a reason for writing this song. You can't just say "oh, I wanna write a song today, even though I have nothing to write about" and expect it to be a hit.
Step 2: Write down words to describe how you're feeling.
Step 3: find phrases to link together the words, so you're not just saying a bunch of words :). A storyline of some sort is good, where the character experiences the same emotions as you (i.e. "Saint Veronika" by Billy Talent)
Step 4: Come up with a tune. If you play an instrument, it really helps. If you don't, come up with a melody of some sort.
Step 4: Practice, and figure out how the melody will go, and which notes you will use.
Basically, it can all be summed up in one sentence: Write the lyrics, then come up with a melody, either using an instrument if possible, or just singing.
Discuss It!
