How To Write A Questionnaire
Perry Said:
A question concerning Fil-Am in the US...?We Answered:
i totally agree with you. nung dumating kami dito ng mga anak ko 2 years ago, my husband'c cousin told me that his kids had forgotten how to speak tagalog in less than a year and so, he told me that my kids will be the same. ngayon, 2 years na kami pero tagalog pa rin kami mag-usap ng mga anak ko kasi hindi ko sila kinakausap ng english. and i told them that i expect my grandchildren to also speak to me in english even if they married someone from a different race. i believe that we, as individuals should never forget our heritage, the country that we belong to - i don't have white skin, my hair is black and pango ang ilong ko - i absolutely look like a filipino, bakit ko kakalimutan ang nag-iisang bahagi ng pilipinas na pwedeng kong dalhin kahit saan ako magpunta? i always remember what Dr. Jose Rizal said,"ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa mabaho at malansang isda." i am a filipino and i am very proud of it. i love my country and the only thing i can share with my kids that's from the philippines is the tagalog language, i will not take that away from my kids.besides, kung yun ngang mga mexicans dito hindi nagsasalita ng english pero nakaka-survive, how much more tayong mga pilipino? ibig bang sabihin nito, mas magaling ang mga mexicans kesa sa mga pilipino kasi kahit dito sila ipinanganak sa amerika at hindi sila nagsasalita ng english, nabubuhay pa rin sila ng maayos? aba! di hamak namang mas magaling at matalino ang mga pilipino! mas madiskarte tayo at magaling mag-adapt.
and i just want to add, to those parents who are not teaching your kids our native language, Shame on you! your kids will never learn how to love their own language. they think that simply looking like a filipino makes them filipinos, too. absolutely wrong - you need to speak like a filipino, act like a filipino, and love the philippines with all your heart in order to be a filipino. it is a privilege, not a hand-me-down.

Write a questionnaire to find out the favourite cans of drink bought by the students at your school.?We Answered:
In mathematics (statistics to be precise), sampling is the random selection of a manageable group of objects (known as subset) from a very large group of objects (known as population) for observation. A sampling frame is simply the population from where you can extract your random sample. Sampling is done so because you cannot handle a large population as it costs an enormous amount of money, time and energy. After analyzing the observation obtained by studying this small group statistically, one can estimate or predict or project the observed properties to the whole population with a certain probability. In your case this population contains all the students of your school. Students you select for the forthcoming interviews is the sample or the manageable group. This sample must have a certain size for you to make the above mentioned estimation (or prediction) for the population with a certainty and, therefore, depends on the size of the population. You must ask your teacher in charge for the formulae to calculate the sample size. Oversampling (selecting more number of students than required) is a waste and undersampling (selecting less number of students than required) reduces the level of confidence of the observations (i.e. predictions are doubtful). As already mentioned the sample must be selected randomly to eliminate biasing. In other words the sample must include members from all walks of life. In your case, do not restrict the interviews to certain groups of students, instead select students who are young, old, intelligent (eggheads), bookworms, athletes, bodybuilders, tall, short, fat, thin, dieting etc. Sampling is a vital part of modern polling, market research, and manufacturing, and its proper use is vital in the functioning of modern economies.Another technical term you should be aware of is "sample space". Informally, the sample space for a given set of events is the set of all possible values that particular events may assume. A sample space may also be known as a event space or possibility space. For example, the sample space of a toss of two coins, each of which may land heads (H) or tails (T), is the set of all possible outcomes: [HH, HT, TH, and TT]. In your case the sample space includes all the answers possible for your question(s). If you ask more than one question, then you have to list all the combinations of answers (not an easy thing to do!). For the single question you have already proposed, this sample space is [Water, Milk, Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Ribena, Squash]. If you like add the following question to your questionnaire;
What brand would you drink if you cannot get your favourite drink at the school?
For many people statistics is a boring subject. But, if you are interested in knowing more about statistics in general and sampling specifically, you can visit the following website in your leisure time. The info in these two web repositories help me a lot to formulate the answer to your question. You can also search in the Yahoo Anwers for more information

how do I get that little square from the keyboard,the one you have to check mark on a questionnaire?We Answered:
This answer applies to Microsoft Word. I am using the 2007 version. This probably applies to most word processing programs.Choose the Wingdings font. The letter o makes the box.???This was made using the Wingdings font, and when you type an o, it gives you the box. Then highlight the box and make it a larger font to make the box as big as you want it.
You can also get a box, by going to Insert, and then go to Symbols. Where it says Font, make it Wingdings. Scroll through the little pictures and you will see a box. Click on the box, click on the Insert button, then close the Symbol window and you have a box.

How do you answer a question in writing or in a job interview that you don't have an answer for?We Answered:
pretty much just make up an easy to remember story, preferably pertaining to your past work experiences.EX. answer for Q1: During my past employment at "walmart" i had to inform my fellow co-workers that they had to clean the store better, or else management would start firing people. i spoke to them in a polite, professional manner and they seemed to have understood the situation as they followed through with their instructions.
something such as that makes you look good, the interviewer can't really check the truth in it, and it's pretty easy to remember incase you get asked a similar question at a later time. Just remember to make yourself sound as professional and as experienced as possible.
