How To Write A Poem
Jill Said:
How to write a poem you feel you wish to be free from?We Answered:
I can't really write the poem for you, but i can try to help you. Try asking yourself these questions and when you get the answers. It should be easier for you to write the poem.1. What do i wish i could be free from?
2. Do i want my poem to rhyme?
Say i was writing this poem and i answered the first that i want to be free from being pressured by my parents "idea" of a career.(mind you just an example, my parents never decided my career for me they let me do that)
and that i don't want it to rhyme. It could go something like this.
Free from my parents
I want to be free from my parent.
I don't like the rules they have for me
Or how they never lose.
But most of all i want to choose
what i shall do when i am older.
They decided for me that i shall be
the best lawyer in the country.
I do not wish to be the best.
Nor do i wish to be a lawyer,
but still they tell me, that this is my career.
I can't wait for the day.
That i will be set free.
The day in which i can choose to be
what i want to be.

How do you write a free write poem?We Answered:

I need to learn how to write a romantic poem?We Answered:
If the romantic poem is "to" someone in particular, just be honest. It doesn't have to rhyme, but it should use at least some poetic devices such as metaphor and simile. For example, you can say that her eyes are joy that dances on the rooftop of your soul, or that when she smiles it makes your heart feel like jumping from its cage...romantic poetry is about expressing inexpressable feelings in such a way that the reader understands what you feel without actually feeling what you feel. Don't try to be clever or make it too complicated...just find words that are your own that express how you really feel...trust me, that "is" romantic.Darren Said:
How to write a poem about ice skating? We Answered:
The key, or trick, is to decide first of all what kind of idea or message you want to convey.Do you want to just capture a breathtaking moment as an ice dancer leaps or pirouettes?
How about the endless work and numerous falls that culminate in the moment of rapturous applause?
The soft, nebulous glow of the dawn through the early morning mist over a lake as the young girl skates across the frozen lake?
The swish as the steel of the blades cuts the pristine surface of the glinting ice...?
A bouqet of flowers left on the ice or on the floorbeside the victory rostrum from the victorious final dance of a competition symbolising dreams, effort, striving etc..?
The machine that cleans the ice and the reflection of the sun/lights/flashbulbs from the surface of the ice rink?
Your poem doesn't have to describe skaters, it can be anything to do with the subject as a whole and will probably get a better reception if it comes from a different angle as described above.
A poet looks at things from other angles to most people and that is why poetry is so powerful, it opens our eyes to a different way of seeing the world. Try it, it's truly, truly liberating to just feel and see the world that others see - differently. You don't have to be an English major, just honest and original.
Go on, do it.
Good luck.
