How To Write A Journal
Jenny Said:
How to write journal quotes? We Answered:
If I'm reading you correctly, you have some criticism from a journal, and want to apply that to the literature discussed? If that's the case, then just read what the critic said, and try to understand the point being made about the original piece.
Sorry, but the question is pretty vague.

How do you put photos/pictures inside your written journal? We Answered:
Great idea. Be sure to use acid free adhesive, specially made for this kind of thing. Don't use standard glue or tape. You could print photos on special acid free paper or use special sleeves to put stick them in the journals and it would protect the photos. All these things are available from scrapbooking stores. Photo shops may ve similar things as well. Good luck, sound like it will be great.

How do you write a journal about characterization? We Answered:
Four elements make a good character: (1)attitude; (2)change; (3)dramatic need; and, (4)point of view. You have to chart each of those four elements to flesh out a character in a journal. (1)To get your characters attitude define her as either bossy or frightened or choose between superior and inferior, or whatever she is going to be in your story. Remember, you can change the attitude anytime you want to fit the story. (2)What change is your character going to go through in your story? Is he going to learn to be nicer? Is he going to be taught a lesson? Is he going to change at all? (3)The dramatic need is what your character wants to get or achieve during your story. Does he want money? Is she trying to win some guy? (4)Your characters point of view is something your character believes in or does or does not do. Is he a drinker? Is she a vegetarian? Is he devoted to following the church? Does she go to target practice with her rifle often? Is he an anti-gun person. Your characters point of view will often cause them to do something. If you get the anti-gun man in a situation with the woman who goes to target practice with her rifle often you will have a situation with conflict in it; conflict is action. Action makes a story interesting.Josephine Said:

You should start by asking yourself "what is the most interesting/important issue/s surrounding you and your friends at the moment??"And here are some of the examples that I've thought up:
- Binge drinking culture
- STDs

- Is religion dying? Is it needed in the future?

How to write journal entries speaking as if in the 17th century? We Answered:
take a look at the book itself, on a separate sheet of paper, write down many of their old English words and the meanings. That might take a while but it would be authentic. Also, the type of English they used is called 'the Queen's English'- google that term and you may find a website that will help youEDIT: this site had a few examples
