how to write a book review ??? main points?

We Answered:

Write a basic answer for each of these things.
1. Things I would change in the book
2. Things I liked in the book
3. Author writing style
4. Why you should read this book
5. Age level and why
6. Short description of each main character
7. Paragraph summary of the book plot

Add more to the list if you like.
Remember, youre starting small, so dont add many adjectives of metaphors in at this stage. Keep it nice and simple.

Make a list of all the great 'persuasive language' words you can think of, that describe characters, the plot, and the authors style.
E.g. Evocative, gruesome, insightful, ensnaring, gripping.
Once you have as many of these as you can think of, right click on your word. Click 'Synonyms'. And then click 'Thesaurus...'. This will show heaps of great new words basically translating to the same thing.

Now is the time to put EVERYTHING together, elaborate on each of those orginal answers, and combine them with your awesome formal language.

Final step, send me your book review so I can PROOFREAD it little missy! Try not to leave me too many grammatical errors! Haha hope it helps (:

How to write a book review on candide by voltaire?

We Answered:

In a book REVIEW, you evaluate such factors as plot and character development, story pace, writing style, etc. You are giving your opinion based on how well the work meets these criteria. Read a few book reviews in major newspapers, (The N.Y. times for example) to see how they are done by those paid to do it for a living, and model your approach to theirs. Read the work being reviewed, then the review, so you can see how what the reviewer says relates to the book under review.
