Check your spelling and punctuation add any recent previous jobs you've had also add any qualifications you have. I think what you've written sounds really good. Good Luck.

Stephanie Said:

help with writing a cv/ letter of application? ?

We Answered:

In your case a CV, or Curriculum Vitae, is a bit excessive. CVs are used for people with extensive experience in their field. In your case, a simple resume will suffice.

Create your resume on plain white paper. Limit it to one page. leave plenty of "white space" so it's easy to read.

You can use templates in Word for ideas. But KEEP IT PROFESSIONAL!!! Be sure to list your full name (no nicknames-"jimmy-dog" doesn't make a positive impression on an employer :-) ) and ALL of your contact info.

Use an "objective" statement to let your prospective boss know what concrete path you plan to follow for your career. "Seeking entry-level position to gain experience in computer networking" or similar.

If you've never had a job before list your school information first. If you've done any volunteer work for your church or school list that also. Avoid going into hobbies, interests, etc. They're irrelevant.

You can list odd jobs if they are relevant to the job you're going for or simply to show that you've got some employment experience.

Provide references at the interview or on the application they will inevitably ask you to complete. Not on the resume.

BTW, never put "See Resume" on a job app. It's rude and the application is a legal document which MUST be completed in full.

Good luck!
