CV writing tips, need advise on too long CV?We Answered:
From what I've been told by experts, only IT resumes should be longer than 2 pages. The resume you have put together may be an excellent starting point each time you are applying for a position. Customize this resume to focus on the industry / job description of the position you are targeting. I keep a copy of this individualized resume, corresponding cover letter, and a digital version of the job advertisement in a separate directory.
Many people don't have several separate skills sections. You may be very proud of all the things you have done and can do, rightly so, but what you want is for the crucial items for the job you are applying for to POP off the page. If the job advertisement indicates five items that are requirements for the position, make sure you highlight HOW you meet these in your resume, although not in exactly the same phraseology IF THEY ARE TRUE.
There are some excellent resume examples online that talk about this but make sure you look at the ones that target the sort of market you are interested in - and make them your own.
The interest section is often not included unless it is relevant to the job.

I'm in a bad need for good tips for writing a CV (if possible from a professional) by tomorrow 26 May?We Answered:
To best answer your question, I'd need to know what country you are in. In the US, you would never include your age, nationality, marital status, etc. In many other countries, it is standard to include such information. In some countries, it's standard practice to include a photo. For a resume or CV that you are posting online, I would not recommend including an address (you never know who will access the information), but definitely an email address and preferably a cell phone number. An address is perfectly fine to include in a resume you are giving directly to a company or recruiter.
In general, if you have just a few years or less work experience, put your education higher on the page than your experience.
Here's a general idea of the sections in order (though, as above, the order can change):
Your contact information: name, email, phone, possibly address
Profile: your professional profile - a few lines highlighting your best skills and accomplishments
Experience: Title/responsibility, company, city/state/country, dates of employment (month & year), then bullet points showing your accomplishments.
Try to quantify accomplishments wherever possible - you don't want to just rehash job responsibilities. Show how you made a difference.
Education & Training: Degree or certificate, School, City/state/country, date, then any details of achievement, relevant studies, major, etc.
The sections may be different depending on your field and experience, but the above should give you a general idea.
I have a free mini-course on my website on the Top 7 Resume Mistakes, plus there is a LOT more information in my book (shameless plug, I know, but it sounds like you need the best information in a hurry).

Any tips for writing a CV for college applications? We Answered:
y will high school student have 3 pages cv?? i will stuck to 1 page if i am u.include high school education at top with total marks, class ranking, testing scores, and so on. nything wit numbers is gud coz it helpz to compare to other studentz. also you shuld write all your clubs and activitez, esp if u won awardz or nything like that
if u have work experience, include it next... remember it also countz as work 2 if u did baby-sitting, volunteering, and so on. again its gud to have numberz, like how meny babiez you watched, how meny hourz of service u did each month and so on
u shuld also talk bout ur computer experience. for exemple is it just Word or do u know software languages or other things. name everything by software name and operating system.
last, u shuld talk about ur hobbyz n interestz. like, do u play a musical instrument, sportz, and so on. again, use numberz where u can so that ppl understand how good u are at your hobbyz.
if u still have space, u can add referencez to ur cv. else u can may be just say referencez available by request
good luck
