Try http://creativewritingideasandprompts.co… It is the best site that I found for creative writing exercises and prompts and it's so much fun doing the exercises on there. It's also pretty fresh and updated almost daily.

General Suggestion: adapt personal experiences into something weird/crazy. Like a secret conspiracy behind your place of employment (every workplace has some bizarre goings-on to work from).

Specific Prompt: You learn that the FBI is investigating you for some mysterious reason.

We Answered:

My teacher gave us a lemon and you tell about it like you are telling about yourself. For example you tell where the lemon lives, what is it like without using the words sour or yellow, also tell what it went through to get to your house, and that kind of stuff. It does give you ideas. I personified mine because I thought it would be cool.
