Who is sponsoring the scholarship? And what can you do or what do you have in your background that will appeal to them? For example, if there are scholarships out there sponsored by the American Society of Military Engineers, then you'd need to address the fact that you're the child of a military engineer, that you want to become and engineer, and that your grades (or other factors) meet their minimum requirements for consideration of this scholarship.
