You can just write 15 instead of fifteen but the examiner may be more kind to you if you write it out in full. My teacher always said this to me: "You are studying English, not maths. If you want to write numbers that way go and study maths. English is about words, not digits." Yes, she was bitchy but it stuck in my head and now I never forget to write out numbers. I'd suggest you get into the habit of writing them out fully simply for practice more than ever. If you can get used to it now in the exam, when you're rushing, you will automatically write them out, preventing you from having to go back and change them.

any numbers under ten should be written out, but any number OVER ten should be written in the normal digits.

thats the general rule, but 13 and 14 are close enough to ten that i dont think it matters.
