Just keep in perspective what an informative essay is... a written piece to inform readers or listeners of something, like an event, or a subject. While informative essays can be about people, more often, they revolve around subject matter like "How do you do this?" or "The lessons learned from this event and what it was about". You can do it about Marie Antoinette, but instead of writing about her life, pick an event from her life to write your essay about. That way it doesn't become a biography.
