Help!!! I need examples for writing an essay!?

Topic Sentences are normally at the beginning of every paragraph. They generally introduce what that paragraph is going to be about. For example, if you are writing a paragraph about how home schooling offers more hands-on activities than public schools, your TS could be "A key advantage to home-schooling is the many hands-on activities that home-school students get to participate in versus public-school students".

Concrete detail is all of the support/examples that you give within the paragraph. If we continue using the home-schooling/public-schooling example, CD could be examples of hands-on activities that the students get to participate in.

Commentary is basically how you feel about the details that you just gave. Pretty much, tell if you agree with the details or disagree and why.

The concluding sentence is normally the last sentence in the paragraph/paper and sums up what you have been talking about. A CS for the paragraph dealing with home-schooling/public-schooling could be something along the lines of "Most home-school teachers will agree that their students learn and remember more with hands-on activities".

Can someone give me examples to write this essay prompt? Or ideas?

Being positive in life is better in the long run. It's harder, as looking at the negative, the glass half empty, is a lot easier. But why be down in the dumps all the time?

Looking at things with the glass half full can sometimes take age and experience.

The quote is simply saying that even those they tried and failed, they're not going to cry about it and complain that they didn't get anywhere. But instead, they agreed that at least they did try, and even though they didn't succeed at the goal, they still gained something, and that's knowledge and experience, and what not to do next time.

So, for the prompt, while it is sometimes more realistic, and easier, to look at it half empty, you won't get far doing that. that attitude will persude you to not try again, and have a bad feeling about whatever it was you tried, and failed.

Looking at the glass half full is the best response, because it means even though you technically failed, you still won the knowledge and experience, and by having a positive attitude, will try again, and possibly succeed.

For example, when you were younger, and didn't know how to ride a bike, and wanted to learn, did you catch on right away? Probably not. A little kid learning to ride a bike for the first time probably falls a lot, and gets discouraged. If the kid saw the bike experience as the glass half empty, they might give up, and hate bikes forever.

But if the kid looks at it with the glass half full, they'll get the confidence to keep trying and be able to ride the bike.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!!!!!

If I were crowed Miss Urban League, I would go around helping those in need. I would understand that others have feelings, and I should respect them.

Something like that, need more details to make a good one.
