I've always tried to follow the 5 paragraph essay rule.

1st - introduce your idea (thesis) and the 3 points you are going to touch on or prove.

2nd-4th - use each paragraph to talk about each of the three points

5th - sum it all up into a conclusion. Restate your thesis and say why it is true. Try to find a catchy last sentence.
