No, I think it means it will be multiple paragraphs -- in an outline form where each major part of the essay is its own paragraph item in the outline. But you don't need to write in complete sentences -- I think that is the distinction between a paragraph outline and a regular essay. In other words your instructor is saying, don't make the outline entries so brief that it looks more like a list, but don't write out complete sentences and paragraphs either. Something in the middle.

Talk about how he couldn't stand up to his wife and not kill the king. How she somehow manages to keep some sleeping potion on habd without MacBeth knowing it.
Another argument is how he kept killing people to cover up the lie of killing the king. These can be supported by the killing of the guards, Duncan and the whole McDuff family
The last argument can be about his guilt was eating away at him and his wife.
Points can be seeing Duncans ghost, his wife suicide and etc.

I would start by separating it into different sections. Like this...
Opening paragraph (with a few interesting facts to keep readers interested)
Three points to make (or three facts, whatever you happen to be writing about pregnancy and childbirth)
and then your closing paragraph to tie everything together

I enjoy writing a lot. And I'm pretty good at writing essays.
I always write mine on the computer.
I look at a rubic, & read what makes it a 6 or a 5. etc

And take every paragraph step by step

first paragraph (thesis/main idea), you're introducing your main idea. Tell us what you're gonna write about. Blah blah, tell where you stand on the topic. etc.

2nd, give details & facts, or info. depending on what type of writing you're doing.

the easiest & fastest way for me is to not do a chart or one of
those organizers thingy. They just make me over think.

When it comes to writing, you gonna be open minded (:
