writing a definition essay on platonic love, i need to know the correct punctuation for quotes!?

We Answered:

Go with the first one. These " " marks are usually used only for speech or actual, like from an article or person. You can also use the quotation marks around both 'love' and 'like', or you can only put them around 'love.'
This is because when you use the word love, you're referring to all those times people say something along the lines of, "Oh, I love this [insert item here]!" So in a way, you generally quoting them. With like, you're moving away from quoting others and onto your own opinion, so no quotation marks are needed.

I need help writing a definition essay!!?

We Answered:

Do some brainstorming first before you write. List what distracts a driver.
List what alcohol does to the brain.
Research and gather information and data on everything you list. Find something
both have in common and start your paper with that. Make sure you start with your
thesis statement and then expand on each supporting detail. Write your summary and why you feel driving while under the influence isn't safe.

I am writing a definition essay on greed, but I have gone blank. Can I get some help, please?

We Answered:

As humans, we all become greedy at some point in our lives. If we look at human history, we will find so many examples of greed. Alexender the great from Greece invaded so mnay countries. Yes, he was brave and conqured so many lands, but it was also his greed of wanting more that lead to his invasion. He caused so much destruction because of his greed.
Hitler's greed was a superior race and to complete his motive, he killed so many jews, gypsies, and homesexuals.
Look at what happened to our economy. Banks wanted to make more money, so they gave out risky loans to people who couldn't afford to make payments.
