For Yale and NW, you probably need a higher SAT score, as well as many more AP classes (about 4 or 5 a year after freshman year). You will probably get into the other schools though.

Make yourself a chart or calendar with all the various deadlines on it -- when the application is due, when the application fees have been paid, when you've requested that your school send the transcripts, when you've spoken to teaches about recommendation letters, etc. Start the process as soon as possible -- ask teachers for recommendations early, put in your transcript requests early, request that test scores to be sent to the various schools, etc. And then mark off on your chart each step as it's completed (and the date it was done). It's easy to lose pieces of the process unless you're organized.
