Ouch. :/ I feel for you. Long essays can be tough.
First off, cut out ALL distractions! That means music (Unless it helps you write), TV, turn your phone off, close your door, ask you family to not bother you for a few hours, etc. Just sit down and focus solely on the essay. And if you need to, take a 5 or 10 minute break.
As for inspiration, it depends what your writing about. If you're like me in the way that you can get interested in any subject you're writing about than get pumped to learn more! I know I may sound "nerdy" saying this, but learning about something new can actually be really fun and get you pumped to write the essay. Also, Imagine how proud you teacher/parents will be if you get a good grade on this assignment. :)

In my student teaching essay I wrote about my background,ie; where I went to high school, where I went to college, where I grew up. When I applied at a rural school I made sure to include that I helped with my husband's family farm. When I applied for an urban school I included the fact that I grew up in an urban area, but gave working on a farm a chance because I am up for anything. Unfortunately you just have to "sell yourself" as the best candidate. Don't forget to include why you became a teacher and your goals for continuing your education. I just finished student teaching and graduated from college in December. Now I have the fun part of resumes, applications, cover letters, and yikes...INTERVIEWS!
