You sound like a creative and logical person, so you need to give yourself a few minutes of quiet time to reflect and let the ideas start to flow.
Then -- seriously -- just write.
With no thought about organizing your thoughts, or spelling or punctualtion -- just write.
Write at least a full page front and back. Then, go have some coffee or tea. In other words: get away from it for 30-45 minutes until you feel refreshed.
Then read over what you wrote and you will find the inspiration you need, probably for all 5 essays.
This seriously works. I've been writing for many many many years and this is what I do when the deadline is on me and I can't think of anything. Try it and good luck!!
