How is it possible to complete an essay in 30 minutes? We Answered:
My guess would be, to just write a page or two, talking about your arguments. I think it's supposed to show that you can work under pressure with the time constraint. They can't be expecting a book if they're only giving you thirty minutes. An essay usually refers to a fairly short paper anyway.Eileen Said:
Is it okay to write an MBA admission essay in "third person"?We Answered:
It's OK, if the subject matter or style of the essay makes it appropriate.Third person can be awkward, though, so it depends on your subject and/or writing style.
There is no rule against writing personal statements (admissions essays) in the third person, but if you do it just to "be different" you probably won't do yourself much good. Especially if it sounds weird to the reader.
But, if you have a good reason for writing in third person (b/c of the subject, or the way you are trying to tell a "story," etc.), then yes, it should be fine.

Which colleges other than Xaviers ask to write essays in MBA entrances? We Answered:
I don't know about Indian schools, but at Western universities? All of them, or at least every program that offers a legitimate MBA. It's a chance to show that you communicate well, can articulate your goals, and to share a little bit about yourself beyond the grades and test scores.Lawrence Said:
MBA essay for Engineers?We Answered:
I can try..As a engineer if u join any company that u have to work as a team. Ur objective is to go to the top level of a team. For this MBA is helpful. But one very important thing is that if u do ur MBA just after ur Bsc or before joining any company thats not good. Because that time u will be treated as a bussines student. So it's better if u do ur MBA after 2 or three years work experience.

I have NO IDEA what I'm going to do with an MBA, how do I write this Admissions Essay? We Answered:
Just one word of advice. You still don't know what you want to do with your life. Maybe it's best if you took a little more time to find out what you like and what will make you happy before you start spending money for a higher degree. Later you might find out what you really want and you might have to do a 360 and start over again.I understand the want and need to continue learning and educating yourself, but you should also have an idea about what you want to do with your life.
You say that you want to do many things. There's nothing wrong with it. Break them down into short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals, and write that into your essay and tell them how you think an MBA will help you achieve those goals. I have a bachelor's in business, so yes, a business degree can transcend into many fields. BUT, if you later find that you want to go into a specialized field then your MBA won't be of much help unless you're trying to start a business related to that field - you'll still need training and possibly education in that field. For instance, if you decide that you're happiest being a psychologist or psychiatrist then an MBA isn't going to help you get into that field.
Personally, I would not start my essay off like that. Saying you're bored is negative language. Start it off by showing how optimistic and ambition you are and how you're eager to learn and have the fortitude and stamina to successfully complete the program. By saying that you're bored and your enrolling just because to do something, well, that doesn't really tell them much. It can also make them assume that since you're bored and just looking for something to do that you might end up dropping out if you find the program boring or find something else that suits your fancy. You can come off as someone who's not really taking the program seriously, and you don't want to do this in your essay.
Good luck with whatever you choose to do.
