well, start by writting about the job you wich to do(the intern thing) and continue on about how your life will be in the job, what you will change, what you will keep and weather you have any other aspirations for the company. also, to fill up the gaps, write about the woman or man you wish to marry(sorry i dont know your gender!) and children you wish to have. the house which you desire, the car, the social relationship with your friends. trials and tribulations with your partner and possibly children. basically, let most of it revolve around the job. thank you.xxx

okay basically its going to be really difficult not to do good on this essay because it asks for absolutely no analysis of the book. its strictly ur viewpoint. So as long as u address all parts of the prompt u should be good to go. so maybe the theme that slavery negatively affects everyone not just those oppressed by it is a new idea to u. so then u realize this isn't only true of slavery but of being rude or hurtful to others because it allows u to become power hungry as it did to mrs. auld. so then u say in the future u will take greater initiative to see who ur actions are affecting and to be a kinder individual not only for the benefit of others but for ur benefit. and then say that u also saw how something as simple as the newspaper the liberator was such a treasure to douglass, a man who had just gained his freedom and in the future you will cherish the simple tings in life more. also u may say that u realize what a great treasure freedom in itself is and u will be more appreciative of the rights u have. u can also say that the kindness of those who douglass met along his journey to freedom including those who taught him to read were memorable to him and in the future u will realize the difference u can make in the lives of others. i didn't address the present and past tense but u can use some of those by jsut changing the tense. or saying u were originally outraged at the treatment of douglass on mr. covey's farm and continue to be however douglass experience has allowed u to gain knowledge about the treatment and slaves and thus... and for the whole emotional thing there's the thing about douglass' mother not being there. his aunt being brutally whipped before him and all those graphic scenes. hope this helps.............. yeah i kinda wrote u like a whole essay which was proably 300 words so now you also know how much to write... =]
