How To Write An Excellent Essay
Barbara Said:
How to write an excellent essay? We Answered:
You start with a thesis which is your response to the statement/question.then comes your intro, and you put your thesis here, and it becomes your line of argument. then you use 3 or 4 main points to support your thesis.
your body is next which contains your main points.
each point has to be written like this:
topic sentence
argument sentence
quotes to support
examples
link back to question
then after you've repeated that for your other points, you conclude.
in your conclusion you restate your main thesis, conclude strongly - say it profoundly and consider quotes and repeat a statement you made in a new and interesting way.
hope that helps.
if you need any other help just ask

how to write an excellent discriptive essay? We Answered:
This is an example of plain writing:We got into the car and drove to the store. We bought our groceries and came home. Mother made supper.
This would be how you would take the same idea and make it descriptive:
My mom, Betty Lou and I, jumped into the old green Ford wagon and hightailed it to Super King to grab some groceries for supper that night. I was all for getting some fish sticks with french fries on the side, but mom nixed that idea! She said it had to be a well-balanced nutritional meal. Okay, I'd use ketchup on the fries! She didn't go for that one either. We ended up having a pot roast with all the trimmings - potatoes, carrots, onions, celery and gravy. I have to admit it was delicious!
See the difference? A descriptive essay makes the reader see what the person who wrote the essay seen. The better you can do that, the better your essay will be.
Good luck.

How to write an excellent analytical essay? We Answered:
There really is no formula to an excellent analytical essay, but here is a list of tips:1- Make sure you have read and understood the book from more than one perspective.
2- Make sure you can analyze all important quotations and explain how they connect to the rest of the novel.
3- Avoid plot summary.
4- Support all arguments/claims with quotes not taken out of context.
5- Include logical transitions.
6- Have a fully-developed thesis statement!
7- Grammar, grammar, grammar.
8- Include the so-what factor? Answer why your analysis is important.
9- Your conclusion paragraph should restate your thesis statement in a way that is different from in the introductory paragraph. In addition, the conclusion should sum up what was stated in the body of your essay.
10- Write at least two drafts.
11- Organize your body paragraphs in a logical manner.
12- Write with music in the background, preferably without lyrics.
13: Buy this book--> http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0…
14- Be willing to cut out unnecessary words, sentences, paragraphs, et cetera.
15- Use active voice!
16- Write in the present tense.
17- Read your work aloud.
18- Read A LOT of different types of works. Read the classics, read modern works, and read foreign works.
19- Avoid cliches.
20- If you are analyzing a character, examine his thoughts, speeches, actions, and relationships. Do not write about him until you think you know him.
21- Develop your own style of expressing your ideas and thoughts.
22- Read the dictionary and use a thesaurus to improve your diction.
23- Take notes and highlight important words/phrases/quotations while you read.
Peace :)

how do you write an excellent english essay ?We Answered:
It is hard to say, seeing as how I do not know what you already understand about essay writing. I can tell you that excellent English essays are things that I strive for as well, and I love to get as many tips as possible. Some great things to keep in mind are:
- When talking about something that is happening in a book, you always talk in the present tense.
- When writing your essay make sure that everything follows a development process. This can be hard because sometimes there are brilliant ideas that can pop into your head, but are somewhat irrelevent to your thesis idea. In these cases, you must leave out the extranious ideas, as much as it may pain you.
- Use strong verbs. Try not to make sentecnes that depend only on the word "is", or other bland words like that because it will bore the person reading your essay. Try and entertain the essay reader throughout the essay.
- Do not try and impress your teacher. So many people mess up essays this way. Just write to make a strong and valid point on whatever you are writing about.
- A great thing to keep in mind is to pretend like you are writing your essay for someone who knows nothing about your topic. Not your teacher who obviously has read/seen what you are writing about. This way you can make sure that what you are saying is clear and understandable.
- Once you have completed your essay, print it out and mark it up. Sometimes you see things on paper that you did not see on the computer screen. When I have time, I normally do this 2-3 times and it saves me from many mistakes.
-Lastly, get people to read your essay and lend you their opinions. You have no idea how much this can help you out. Get your parent(s) to read it, get your friends (who are willing to suggest things to you) to read it, anyone that you can find because you want a wide variety of thoughts in order to make sure that you have written the best essay possible.
All in all, the key is clarity, and if you can do that, I think you should do very well. I have many sheets and guides on how to write if you ever want to talk with me later. I would be more than happy to share the ideas on them with you! :)
I hope I helped you at least a little.
But like I said I do not know what you have already been taught about writing. :)
Also, I was wondering if you could answer my question?
You do not have to if you do not want to! :)
I just want as many opinions as possible.
Thank you so much! :)

How do you write an excellent english essay ? ? ?We Answered:
say what the teacher has gone over more then once during class. that usually means its important, and the teachers are trying to get it into your brain. by putting it in your essay means you fully understand what they are trying to teach, and thats what the teachers want.flow all your sentences together. even when you change paragraphs, make sure it isnt random.
use slightly complicated words - it just sounds nicer.
when you use quotes, make sure they flow into the sentence. Quotes are usually used when describing emotions, but not necessarily all the time. Example quote:
"She continued to stab him out of the fury, out of the pain" (Author page #)
In the paper:
When she kills him, she "[stabs] him out of the fury, out of the pain" (Author page #).
Also you can use [] when you are changing the tense of the verb.
Make sure you describe all your quotes before and after you state it. A quote can not be used without being analyzed. The teacher is not grading you based on your quotes, but on your analysis.
