"Love thy enemy, for they tell all your faults," How would I write an effective essay on this aphorism? We Answered:
Enemies will tell you everything..they have nothing to lose. Friends will hide feelings to spare yours! Friends actually work on forgiveness and will allow you to have faults and overlook them because they are not into changing you. Enemies will tell you everything because you are the source of their aggravation and they WANT you to know the worst about you. They do not hold back...where friends will.Bonnie Said:
How do you write effective essays in AP English 3 without investing too much time?We Answered:
My government teacher was lecturing us on essay writing the other day, and basically he said that the best kind of essay format you can use, for absolutely everything, is your basic '5 paragraph' essay.Marilyn Said:
How do you write an effective introduction to an essay? We Answered:
Well, you want to start out with a great sentence. It has to be something that's strong and captures the reader's attention and that opens up the road for you to discuss the topic in your essay. (Please pretend I know what I'm talking about.) The best tip I can give you is to go into writing your essay with a plan. I didn't learn this while in school; I just learned it recently, but it's always helpful (especially when the project doesn't involve creativity) to outline your work. Have a bunch of possible introductions, string sentences together, write a bunch of paragraphs, then sit back and see which ones work best, which ones sound better. You might use what you've written down or you might come up with something else.Don't overthink it, though. After you've written your essay, read it aloud. This is *very* important. Trust me when I say that how it sounds in your head is not how it sounds read aloud. You catch a lot of mistakes and awkward sentences when reading something out loud. Do that until it sounds great in your head and out loud. Then have someone read your essay to see whether it works for them too.
Also, you don't have to start on the introduction. If you have a general idea of what your essay is going to look like or how it's going to sound and what you're going to include in the middle and the conclusion, then work on that and finish off with the introduction. Sometimes I work backwards and it can be really helpful. Start at your strongest point and go from there.
Do what works for you, but make sure the final piece looks appropriate and sounds great.
Good luck!

how to write an effective comparison esay?We Answered:
Doing your research, like others have mentioned is always the first step in writing and "effective essay."There's basically two ways to craft this paper.
Block Method:
1. Describe all the advantages of synthetic materials.
2. Describe all the disadvantages of synthetic materials
3. Compare/Contrast and argue view points. You must have a thesis that you're trying to support, remembe that. You should bear in mind primacy/recency and which argument you want to puth forth first.
Alternating Method:
Describe advantage/disadvantage of each issue (possibly in terms of cost, environmental factors, ease of use) I can't really say because I'm not versed on the subject. Once you alternately describe each, then summarize and conclude.
To me, the most important part of your paper is your first two sentences. Always start off with a bang ... But NEVER start by saying "The Websters dictionary ...."
Good luck.
This is a good page that illustrates The primacy-Recency question .. check it out.

How do I write an effective introduction to an essay? We Answered:
Well, you'll need to start off with a opening statement to introduce reader to your essay, like this:Hamlet is a character written by Shakespeare that arguably is best known to the vast majority of people. He is so well known because...
Something like that.
Then, you'll need a thesis in that same paragraph (depending on length of essay, don't make it one whole page). It helps to write out your thesis like this:
The purpose my essay is to... explain/argue etc
After the "to" word, whatever you type there will be your thesis.
Your opening paragraphs MUST contain ideas that you will introduce into your essay.
Hope that helps.
