In a very simple way, you are correct, except for the "pictures and what not." Any sort of graphics should be inserted where they are relevant in the report. Not sure what you mean by 'what not,' perhaps your references, sources, etc.? It might be easiest for you to write an outline first, so you can map out each paragraph before you start writing.

Just tell the truth. Start with, "I want to become a nurse because...." and go from there. The most simple rule of starting off an essay like that is to reword the question in your first sentence. I can't tell you what else to write because I don't know why you want to become a nurse. Most people become nurses because they love medicine, love people, want to help sick people, care about people and it's a great career with good money too.

I'm also curious, what kind of school is making you do this? Is it for RN?

Fieldwork in anthropology is based on the idea of participant observation. This means that you observe and write down everything that you see, but also you take part in things. So to take the above example, if you were at the fairground you must no only write down what you observe, but you have to go on the rides and write what you yourself feel.

Malinowski (1922) introduces participant observation as the cornerstone of anthropological method, he says not to be passive but to immerse yourself in the society that you are studying. If you cant immerse yourself you will always be looked on as an outsider. Also, dont just take note of the things that are unusual to you such as rituals or one time events, he emphasises the importance of recording what he calls "the imponderabillia of actual life", meaning the everyday things. How people wash etc.

I think you should either write it as a standard essay or maybe as a diary with emphasis on the chronology. The most important thing is to get as much information and as much detail down as possible. I dont recommend what the person above suggests which was to make up theories as to why people are doing things. This is an ethnography, and as the assignment says you have to sit down and "observe and record everything we see other people doing". thats all i would suggest you do, no crackpot theories if you dont have evidence to back them up.
