How to write an English reflection essay?

We Answered:

Reflection essays express you own feelings an attitudes, your own experiences. Think of a mirror. this essay will be you relating yourself to the topic. I have done several in conjunction with books or poltical topics. say your essay is on how music has shaped the twenty first century youth culture ofr some such. You would take that topic and explain how you are personally influence in you behavior attitudes and experiences by this topic. If the essay was not reflective you would not include any personal refrences, only published creditable sources. In this case you and your life are your only source ( or maybe the book or movie she wants you to reflect on) They are not that bad, so just take a deep breath and write down all experiences you have that you can think of with the given topic. Narrow that down two two to three depending on the length of the essay. if the essay is two pages types double spaced three would be good. be sure to describe, explain and relate. Describe the event, explain what it meant, relate it to the topic. These can be done in various orders and manytimes similtainously. Lastly find a good solid quote that is topical to sart you essay and maybe another to finish it.
tips
1. write intro and conclusion at the same time. both are very similar and will contain the same info.
2. do not introduce new info during conclusion, conclusion reminds them what you have already told them.
3. outlines work great to help with flow and transition see your ideas and how they mesh on paper before you begin writing.
4. read you paper out loud, to someone/ to a mirror it doesn't matter. just reading it aloud will help you find spelling and grammer mistakes as well ashelp you hear flow.
5. If you need more help ask you teacher alot of peer tutors will help and also sometimes the teacher willl take a look before you hand it in for final grade.

i hope i was a help

I have to write an essay on abortion?

We Answered:

Being a "person" is more than having two strands of DNA link up, which can only be seen, by the way, by using an electron microscope. Most of us do not carry an electron microscope around in order to see and relate to our children and to other people. This illustrates that the "life begins at the moment of conception" argument is a misapplication of Occam's Razor (logic) to a matter of legal and moral practicalities.

The Catholic Church's solution to this problem was, until quite recently, to define a person as one who was "born alive"--a practical, moral, legal, and ethical position. Also, until recently, the Catholic Church repeatedly rejected logic, Occam's Razor, as being inferior to revealed truth (the persecution of Galileo, etc.).

The assignment of rights in a democracy is a social choice. Choosing to continue the (previous) Catholic principle of "born alive" comports with stare decisis, made sense for centuries to the great thinkers of the Church, and still makes sense as it respects a woman's rights to self-determination.

Practical examples: The legally significant dates are a person's birth and death. The state Division of Vital Records does not record dates of conception. A child cannot inherit anything until after it is born. All miscarriages are not required to be reported to the police and investigated as possible murders.
