How To Write A Narrative Essay

June Said:

How to write a narrative essay?

We Answered:

You need to get started by creating a thesis statement. This will point your reader in the direction of the intent of your essay. Let the reader know that you are going to be comparing the three films and what you are working toward by the end of the essay.
Beyond that, it is somewhat hard to say because you haven't really given enough detail into what kind of essay you are assigned. Are you writing a persuasive essay on one film being better than the others? A simple opinion essay on the films in general? An essay on the structure and design of the film? Or are you simply supposed to write about each of the three movies with no bias voice?
Regardless of what the intent of the essay is, you should dedicate a portion (likely a paragraph per) to each of the three films. These can either summarize the film briefly, or provide a history of the film or director, etc. Once you have done this, you are ready to touch on your thesis idea again. This is where you bring together the thesis statement and substantiate the portions dedicated to each film. When you have finished this, you are ready to close out your essay by summarizing your thesis statement again and re-emphasizing your stance in the essay.

Good luck, hope this helps

Can anyone tell me how to write a narrative essay?

We Answered:

Narrative just means telling a story. So tell the story of how you prepared the presentation, where you got the material, how you put the ideas together, how you decided what to put in and what to leave out, how you organised it, what was the thinkng behid it, right up to the presentation itself, and then finish with how you feel the presentation went. Was it well received and were people interested.
Hope this helps.

How do I write a narrative essay in first-person on a non-human living organism?

We Answered:

As the first-person perspective involves the 'I' word, write it as if you are the non-human organism reporting on what's going on.

"The other lion kids don't like me all that much, and try to eat all the meat up before I can get to the carcase. But mum and the girls did our pride proud today be bringing down a great big old zebra. Those kids couldn't eat fast enough to keep me out of the meal...."

Can someone give me some pointers on how to write a narrative essay?

We Answered:

You can publish your essay here so I can see what's the problem and I might do a little proofread. The point of writing a narrative essay is to keep it interesting and a good pace without getting dramatic.

How to write a narrative essay on epiphanies?

We Answered:

Your narrative will tell the story of the circumstances surrounding your epiphany and what it taught you. You may have learned something profound from a song or movie -- many people have. However, if you're writing about "epiphanies" you're writing an exposition, not a narrative.
Look over the assignment carefully and make sure you write what the teacher wants.

You have your three points you have "road mapped" for your paper so use them, that is part of your thesis statement.

How to write a narrative essay about my hair?

We Answered:

Your teacher sounds like a hippy.
Hippies love random crap that sounds really stupid.
Write a story from your hair's point of view.
For example:
To get a better view at what my hair is like, one must view it from the hair's point of view.
Every day I am tortured with a straightening iron, burned and flattened.
This is followed by an extremely fragrant spray which helps me stay soft. It takes away some of the sting from the burn.
After the morning fixer-upper, I am brought into the trecherous outdoors to the bus stop. It is often sunny, but on some days it rains, i love that feeling.
After a long day at school of being touched, knotted, and fiddled with, I return home where I am put up into curlers.
After this I unfortunately have to be slept on by some giant head.

Sorry for making you read that horrible thing, but i know my hippy teacher would love it. I actually had fun being a douche when i wrote that. Hope it helps. GLUCK
