Nobody uses endnotes anymore. They are too distracting. The preferred method today is to use MLA (Modern Language Association)in-text citations (author's last name and page number) to help the reader find the references in a Works Cited list (a separate page titled Works Cited) at the end of your essay. There are several rules for this and you can get all them by googling "MLA in-text citation." Good luck.
