If you're just talking about how some birds got from one place to another (inside an air plane, for example) then this is NOT plagiarism.

If you're directly quoting someone, you can avoid plagiarism by saying "as Mike Tyson said, 'the birds were flown.'" (Or whoever said it, since maybe it wasn't Mike Tyson. Although Mike Tyson does fly birds.)

I applaud your courage in going your own way and taking this year off. That took guts.
Just don't procrastinate on making a decision about what you really want in life. It is very easy to get lost in limbo.
Then again, don't fret about limbo either. Some times, limbo offers the basis for a completely different point of view: one that is unique to you, probably subject to criticism from others, but entirely yours.
Just concentrate on the above questions, and figure out which way the sails of your heart are set. Then forge forward full throttle and leave the naysayers behind in your wake.

Hey, Don't feel too bad about this. I had the same problem in college and even some now when I have to speak in front of a large group. Unfortunately this is something that I have had to do on a somewhat regular basis. I found that if I read through my material several times and did some breathing and relaxation techniques and that helped me to relax. Concentrate on your breathing and your rhythm when you are speaking, not so much on what you are reading. You have to separate yourself from the material, although it may be personal to you. A lot of the feeling is fear, of judgment, of messing up, of looking foolish- but DONT worry!! Remember, that everyone else in the class will more than likely be feeling just the same as you! You can do it!!
