Lets see, I am doing the same thing right now although my deadline is in a week you are running out of time! I sat down last night and thought why do I have to write about myself I have spent the last 10 years of my life ignoring myself not funny but true I don't think much about myself as a whole but a constant part of something, so this is what I did, you have to tell the reader about yourself, and when in life would you sit and tell someone about yourself your likes your dislikes but when you our on your first date with someone new someone who knows nothing about you keep the essay limited to 3-4 main facts about yourself or it will go on forever. Start your introduction with who you are (Name) where you are from maybe even where you have been or lived that could be a topic if you travel a lot. Find at leats 3 to 4 main facts about yourself, work, kids, travel,religion, whatever it may be and describe this in your introduction. Then start your next paragraph with your first topic and end each paragraph leading into your next topic, make sure you don't leave the reader hanging and describe each and everyone one of your facts again keep it simple but don't forget about your introduction don't leave a paragraph out, then your conclusion is what you see your self doing now and the future. I hope that helps, the instructors are watching for grammar and creativity so make sure you stay on track.

I have been going through this ordeal for years.

This above question, is very controversial and can be classed as a very heated debate as well....

this question is great and stuff, people always argue about are they arent they.

As you can see, i have been doing this for years, it depends on what mood i am feeling..

If i was to do a presentation it would be a summary or target points...From an essay, i would write in detail covering every point.


Another point, not all people that have diverse writing skills are plagarist.

A could idea would be to brainstorm some phrases that you could use. Personally, I would choose the poem format because it requires less explanation.

So here are some ideas that came to my mind using your metaphor of the waterfall:

> the joy of the waters dancing as they cascade over the cliff representing the joy of being able to express yourself

> like different streams join in the flow, so thoughts come from different directions

> words rushing faster than the thoughts can carry them

> the waters bubble and swirl as the excitement of ideas that come to my mind

> the momentum of rushing water is as the passion that comes from expressing the force of what you really feel

> the sunshine plays on the waters and makes rainbows as the thoughts coming together produce new insights
