Essay Writing Structure

Wade Said:

Essay Writing Structure?

We Answered:

Well the basic structure for a paragraph can be remembered like this:

SEX

S - Statement
E - Example
X - Explanation

While the entire thing is rather easy,

- Introduction
- Body Paragraphs (Using SEX)
- Conclusion

Kathleen Said:

When writing an essay in an exam, what structure should you write in??

We Answered:

I know a technique although I'm not sure if it'll work for the type of essay you're planning to write. Its P.E.E. which stands for: Point, Evidence, Explanation. Make your point on the topic, give evidence on what you want to write, and explain it. Hope this helps :)

Lorraine Said:

I need help with writing my essay regarding structure?

We Answered:

Google Demons. It seems I remember they share the same demons or did a long time ago. Check demons on wiki.

Clinton Said:

if i am writing an essay about myself how should i structure it?

We Answered:

I always start with an outline for a 5 paragraph essay. If it needs to be longer you can do as you need.
For people I always do it in Chronological order.

Paragraph 1)Introduction: something fascinating about you that grabs attention

Paragraph 2) Your earlier life. Cool things about you from when you were a kid

Paragraph 3) Your life now

Paragraph 4) where you want to go in life. Where do you see yourself in ten years?

Paragraph 5) Conclusion: Sum it up and tie it back to the Introduction

Frank Said:

How do you write/structure a essay about what you did?

We Answered:

You could take a playful or philosophical view about it. What Did You Do Today (playfully):
Well when I woke up this morning, I definitely had more to do than *"counting flowers on the wall, smoke cigarettes, and watch Captain Kangaroo"---a little hard since the fella's dead! *"Lemme tell ya 'bout it!" (If you use something like this for the opening paragraph, the "counting flowers on the wall" line is from "The Class of 57" by the Statler Brothers. "Lemme tell ya 'bout it" is from "Smoking In The Boys Room" (I'm not sure who does it---it was a long time ago).
Philosophically:
What you did today will be one of the permanent etches in your road to life. How simple or complex you face each day-to-day situation is up to you. (Make several paragraphs--4 usually gets it--of sitautions you have handled on a given day. Don't worry if they are simple or hard: Just write). This really sounds better in third person (using "One" or "We" in place of "You," but one of the marks of good writing is not "straining the reading so that readers feel they can't relate to it. In this case, and for that reason ONLY, I would use "You").

Im writing an essay on polysaccharides with the title an account of structure an importance what do i include?

We Answered:

Polysaccharides: The basic formula is (C6H10O5)n . These are macromolecules capable of acting as structural or storage molecules.

Storage Polysaccharides: Starch is a plant storage polysaccharide that is composed entirely of glucose joined by @1-4 glycoside linkages. amylose is the simplest form of starch. amylopectin is more complex and is branched. Glycogen is an animal starch stored in the liver and muscles of vertebrates. It is more highly branched than amylopectin.

Structural Polysaccharides: Cellulose and chitin are examples of structural polysaccharides.
Cellulose is the most abundant organic compound on earth. It is made of glucose, like starch, but they differ in the type of 1-4 linkage. Instead of an @ linkage as in starch cellulose contains a B 1-4 linkage.
This causes the polysaccharide to take on a step arrangement and not a linear one like in starch.
Enzymes find it difficult to brake the B 1-4 linkage.
