First you make a plan - starting with the heading on top, make a rough plan of the ideas you wish to set out in your essay.

There are 3 basic parts to an essay:
The Intoduction
The Body
The Conclusion

Now write the intro, which must be simple yet hold the readers attention to want to carry on...
The body of the essay is the main part and depth of the topic, simple enough to read, but clarifies points that might have been raised in the intro.
The conclusion, ties all the loose ends together, makes a summary of points and closes the essay without a doubt in mind that the writer has researched her topic and is confident to impart this to the reader.

ps. You did not state wether the essay is a factual essay - ie for history of events; or just a short story for an english assignment.

Because you need to learn how to sign your signature on paper work for adult hood.

You can't print your name out on a check. Well, you shouldn't. Be too easy for someone else to do.

Also, it's part of learning and literature and grammar. It's a form of writing. Even if it isn't perfect, you should still learn to read and write in cursive so you can read other cursive writing from other people.
