You've got some good arguments here, and it's pretty well organized. One general warning I would give you - when you present your opposition as having universally accepted bad ideas, you actually weaken your own position. This is called the Straw Man fallacy. For example, when presenting the other side of the death penalty question, you say that the attitude is childish and based on "how do you like it." Your other arguments are strong enough, you don't need to make this when it can be easily batted down (No, it's based on the philosophy of an eye for an eye, for example). Give your opponents credit where its due, and you come out ahead. The other place I saw this was when you stated that judges give the death sentence "on a whim." You'd better have something strong to back that up. Take out those three words, though, and the argument stands up.

As far as grammar and punctuation, a colon shouldn't be used to interrupt a sentence. You don't need it in your first sentence.

Someone else thinks that globalisation is a positive phenomenon: other people may think that ...

I agree with people who say that globalisation is the reason of the increase of differences between North and South countries: the first ones are becoming richer and richer, while the second ones are becoming poorest and poorest. : I agree with people who say that globalisation is the reason for the increase of differences between Northern and Southern countries i.e. the first are becoming wealthier, whilst the latter are becoming poorer.

Its interesting to see all of the dynamics of immigration and how different people can pull up different data about the same subjects to make it appear in their favor. They usually are, but the best way to benefit from a paper is to construct it yourself. Some of those places recycle papers, so the chances of getting caught are higher. Get caught, and the school will throw you out with no degree!
