I think what you mean is, Should creationism (the idea that god created the universe) be taught in schools? Pro or contra.

If that's it, contra, I think, is the way to go. I think it is all right to teach that the idea of creationism--that god made the world as the bible claims--was for years accepted. However, since 1859, when Darwin published _The Origin of the Species,_ the notion has fallen by the wayside and no scientist seriously believes it anymore. In biology courses and science courses, therefore, creationism has no place since no respected man of science holds it to be true.

On the other hand, in social history courses, in courses about the history of ideas, creationism is a valid subject: why people believed it and how the idea reinforced ethical concepts and was used as the basis for governmental organizations. These organizations have long since outlived the folklore on which they were based, of course. Some of the ethical beliefs still hold, although not the religious underpinning.
