The whole point of analytical essays is that you analyse something from all sides in an unbiased manner, so yes, both positives and negatives. However, you can still mention what your personal opinion is in the introduction and conclusion.
Yes, you should definitely provide evidence, but they don't necessarily have to be quotes from the book, especially since your topic question is whether someone else should read it. You'd be referring to things that person probably can't really connect to because he/she doesn't know the story. Just give your reasons, and speak in general terms about the theme or plot of the book.
If you are lets say, saying that people should read it though, then you should mention that while listing out the positives and reasons in your body paragraphs.
