A research paper is a very specific type of paper, for which research is required — it will include a works cited page, usually with a given minimum number of reputable sources. A term paper is a big umbrella designation that basically indicates a paper of any sort written at the end of a term/semester, usually intended to take an extended period of time and to comprise a large portion of the term grade. So, some term papers are research papers, and some research papers are term papers. Some term papers, though, will not be research papers, because they're written from what you've already learned. Sometimes they may even be subjective, especially in an English class, or they may be based on primary sources such as an interview the writer performs.

Question: Are they gonna stay friends? Whats gonna happen to the relationship between the friend that's dark secret was told and the person that the secret was told to? Could it bring them closer or make enemies ?

theater drama: romeo and Juliet with your own twist, etc..

A research paper is a part of academic writing that improves the development of effective technical writing skills and includes thoughtful level of inquiry than you might be used to.
A term paper is also a research paper. Term papers are generally intended to describe an event or concept or argue a point.

I've found three basic rules when writing a term paper to work well.

1st) Opening (tell what your paper is about and briefly state an overview of the facts you're providing).
2nd) Supporting facts.
3rd) Close. When you close, hit each one of your facts you prevsiouly used, wrapping everything up together.
