I need tips for creative writing.?We Answered:
The best way to become a better writer is to read. Read everything you can get your hands on, and really focus on the texts that grab you in some way. Read them slowly, and try to figure out exactly what the author is doing that makes his or her writing so brilliant. Also, very few writers are inherently good. Most have to practice each and every day to get to a decent level, and even then their work has to be revised and edited before much of it is ready for publication. So write every day, and try not to let your ideas be stifled in any way. If an idea comes to you, write it down and play with it, even if it seems completely bizarre. You never know where an idea will take you, but if the idea is a worn old cliche, it's probably not going to take you anywhere you want to go.
I'd avoid creative writing books if you can. For me, they tend to limit my ideas, and I find most of the writing prompts cliche and predictable. You're much better off spending your time reading great literature than writing about "a woman who left an unmarked package on a bus seat. What happens next?" or some such garbage.
The only book on writing I would recommend, oddly, is "On Writing" by Stephen King. I know, he's not exactly considered to be a great writer by the critics (though I really think that's due more to his popularity than to his writing abilities) but his book is fascinating and, I found, very helpful.
Avoid at all costs "From Where You Dream" by Robert Olen Butler. We used it in my advanced fiction writing class, and it's really just a novel-sized chance for Butler to impress upon the audience that he's a literary master, and we're all hopeless peons. It's useless and depressing, and if anything hurt my writing more than helped it.
Seriously though, the most important thing you can do is read. Read everything. Novels will help you learn structure and pacing, as well as dialogue. Good poetry will teach you how to create vivid images in your work and show you that some of the best sentences put words together that you never would have considered using together. Non-fiction will improve your grammar and sentence structure. Short works of fiction will help you learn to grab the reader immediately.
And caffeine. I find caffeine immensely helpful.

Tips on writing? How to get published? We Answered:
I find the best and most creative way to write is to first write out my stories in a way that makes sense to me and not worry about being too formal to begin with. I can write it all out in a more formal manner at a later stage.I start with scenes that are the most fun to me and then work either way towards the start and to the finish. That might sound a bit odd, but starting a story from the beginning is not as easy as it sounds. I prefer to write scenes from somewhere in the middle first and build up around that way. I do however write a brief outline of the whole story first, something simple though, like the story is about a talking dog that befriends a young boy, but only the boy understands the dog so they can get away with all kinds of fun, something like that. And from writing a simple outline, ideas will flow.
I write mostly about subjects I know really well, but I add magical or fantastical twists to them, just so I can let my imagination go a little wild. I love fantasy stories the best. Have you read Eragon? Eragon is a fantasy novel about a magical world of dragons and tells the story of a young boy and his adventure through this land. The book in now a major movie, and the book was written by a guy called Christopher Paolini and he started writing Eragon when he was only 15. He has written two sequels now too. I think. Pretty amazing. You can read about Christopher and his books and movie here.

Also for all the characters that are in your stories write little biographies for them. This is just for you, but it will really help give you ideas for them. Do this for all the characters, not just the main ones, just a few lines on what they look like and what kind of a person they are and if they are good or evil or what strengths and weaknesses they have. I find this helps me a lot, and even reminds me of a characters ways, after I've been writing for a while.
Getting work published can be tricky, but not necessarily difficult. A lot of the most successful authors today were turned down by many publishers before one gave them a chance. So when you start putting your work out there, don't be put off by some saying no to you. Being persistent is a major key. Basically you need to pluck the courage up and send your scripts or novels to publishers. You can get publishers details online and even in books themselves. A good way to start getting your work seen and to build up a fanbase is to get your work online. Make a website and start posting your stories on a website, maybe even with some illustrations, and have a section on a website that allows a reader to post feedback. Maybe even have a website dedicated to the story of your book. Look into publishing ebooks too. Ebooks a great way to get your work seen. Try it out with a short story first if you like.
Best of luck with all of this.
