Lesson Plan Creative Writing
Anna Said:
Is it possible for me to get into Princeton? We Answered:
Well first of all, it sounds like you need to get better friends. If it's something you want they should encourage you.As far as getting in, you sound like you could have a good shot. You have to remember, though, that you are competing against each year's applicant pool and it is different from year to year. The best thing for you to do is to apply no matter what. Even if people tell you that you shouldn't, you have nothing to lose by applying, and everything to gain. Right now, as you start your junior year, just do everything you can to optimize your chances. Stay on top of your classes (but don't stress out, it'll just be harder that way!) and study for the SATs as best you can. Then, when it comes time to apply, just apply and leave it to faith, knowing you did everything you can. Best of luck to you!

How to get into a good college.?We Answered:
Most colleges only look at your Junior year. I'd have Ds and Fs for the first two years of highschool, but pulled my shizz together during Junior year. I got accepted to all colleges I applied to, even to my reach school. So don't worry.Join clubs, show that you're involved and hard-working.
Keep in mind that some prestigious colleges are shockingly easy to get into. I know a few dimwits that got accepted into Penn State.
I don't think it matters if you're in an online school. If you opt to provide a written reason, I'm sure you'll do just fine.
Definitely go to college. People think they can learn everything they need to know about their craft on their own, but truly, your professors can teach you things you've never even thought of. It'll be worth it in the long run.
For acting versus writing, you can major in the latter and work on the former in the meantime too. (I'm doing the same with history and art, respectively.) Maybe take a minor in acting. Even if you don't get into UCLA, the college you'll get into probably has an acting/musical club, and local scenes would surely have open-casting calls.
(A potentially helpful question: Have you ever considered voice acting? There are lots of opportunity in that area. )

Honestly, what do you think my chances are....?We Answered:
From what I can see, you seem like a great candidate to go to an Ivy League school.AP's are very important when applying to universities. I'd recommend you study very hard for your AP exams, aiming to score a 5 or a 4.
Also, are you coming from the USA? or Canada? Do you plan on taking SATS? Are you looking to get any sort of athletic or academic scholarship?
One major tip: When writing your personal statements, resumes etc... make sure you be yourself! Be creative. Universities go through so many applications everyday, waiting to read one that is DIFFERENT. One that they can remember.
Good Luck!

Help me with ideas for this story I have to write please?! I really don't have anything? We Answered:
Write about what you know... what you dream will be... happening...Envision you and your best friend discussing where you will live... a simple life story is no less a story ... you don't have to accomplish anything grand to have an interesting life...For example, if you intend to play soccer... begin with something like...
The ball soared through the air. Everyone at practice that day watched in awe and wonder at the rookie-which happened to be me making a shot that you only saw on professional soccer fields. I have to admit I expected the coach to be just as impressed at my abilities as everyone else. I was more than a little irritated when he dismissed my expertise on the field. The more I thought about it the more I wondered if maybe I should have checked out a few more colleges first.
I couldn't wait until pracitce was over that day so I could meet up with Bob and tell him how the coach had dissed me!
THEN meet with Bob or Jane at the pub and talk about what is going on in at present...your home, your new car, the new person you are dating. Simple ordinary things. Complaints, worries, and fears...
End with a meeting with the coach the next morning...telling you how impressed he was with your talent...He didn't mean to diss you...His mind was elsewhere that day...He had just received word that a professional scout was coming to see his players....end it.
Hope this helps. Sometimes it seems overwhelming trying to create what you think will happen.. and you think that it must be something you don't know anything about...after all ...it hasn't happened yet... but in five years you will still be the same person...so just be you...now...
Hope I helped....
