If your teacher hasn't given you a direct question or a exact structure that your thesis should follow, then make your thesis what you are trying to prove.Is your paper just an info type of paper? I'm assuming that since you are asking, that you are writing some type of argument paper. Just think of it like this, WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO PROVE IN YOUR PAPER. Your answer to that question should be your thesis. Everything you write in your paper should then somehow be proving your statement (that you used as your thesis).
If you're having a really hard time, then maybe you can try laying out all the points that you want to make in your paper and then figure out what your thesis is. What exactly you are trying to say in your paper.
