You could describe the sensations one may feel when they go to a park or some outdoor event... the scents of the flowers, the vibrant colors, the heat of the sun, the gentle breeze, etc...

Now, take out every single adjective and adverb in the whole story. You don't need them and it weakens your story considerably through abstraction.

Especially the ones in dialogue tags.

Hi, my suggestion is that you can always write a scary story! It's a lot of fun, Creative writing is my fave subject (besides math). Try writing about a group of children who go on a field trip on a bus, the bus driver is new and doesn't know directions very well, they end up in a haunted mansion where they have to spend the night (make it as many kids as you want to write about: be sure to include details), tell about how their night goes and whom they meet (monsters, ghosts, etc...) (they might become friends wtih the mosnters, or are afraid of them cuz' they're evil!!!) :) Include a lot of details!!!!!!!
