Natalie Said:

Creative Writing and Social Work?

We Answered:

1. You can write brochures for non-profit organizations.
2. You can write press releases and official announcements for non-profit organizations.
3. You can write, create, or rewrite official forms, form letters, official documents, and other neccessary papers. You know, be the person who creates all that paperwork and red tape.
4. You can write newspaper stories, literature or books pertaining to helping people. You can write poems, opinion letters, letters to the editor, and official mailings for fundraising.
5. You can write advertising copy for radio and television ads for non-profit organizations.

There's a lot of people who need help and there and a lot of government agencies with very confusing instructions and 5 forms for no reason. You have your work cut out for you. Get busy.

Is it mandatory to share your work in a Creative Writing class?

We Answered:

Well, yeah. It should be. Bouncing work and ideas off of other people is the only way to really learn to write.
