Help on an English paper....?We Answered:
You could base it on something that's going on in your own community right now or something that happened in the past. For example, The Outsiders was based on real tension between social groups in Oklahoma. If you have a relative who has lived an interesting life, you could write about him or her in a fictional way--maybe someone is a war hero or did something amazing. That could be a good story to work with.

unwillingness to believe that i am actually GOOD at something? We Answered:
Do it again to see if it was justified or just meant to build you up. Actually, who cares? Having positive comments is always better than hearing negatives.Perhaps you need to build your self esteem a bit. try attending a Toastmasters club. There are positive people there who are trying to better themselves. they do this by evaluating each other and after a while they get pretty good at it. You may be allowed to read your material (set it up with what you were responding to first) and then get their feedback. they will give you what they feel is positive as well as areas for improvement. Be sure to tell them you are interested in your content, not the delivery so much.
Since you are in school, you are not eligible (by age) to join a club but that doesn't mean you can't attend (for free) and learn something in the process.

That's really well written. You could tune up the language. You know, try to sound more professional. Avoid 'star' language for one.
