I am an undergraduate. How can i enroll myself with some foreign univ. for dist. edu. programme?

We Answered:

Australian universities offer a lot subject and degree courses through Distance Education (also described as 'external' subjects) because this is a big country. Try this site for links to the home sites of all Australian universities and look at the information for International students and 'external'' or 'distance education' http://www.australian-universities.com/ Most of the university sites will describe the process for international student enrollment and getting previous qualifications recognised.

Live in NYC and wanted to know if I can take an undergraduate program in English (would like to write)-?

We Answered:

First, you live in NYC - the town is full of great universities, seminar programs advertise on every street corner...think hard about whether you really must take an online program. I say this because online programs are sometimes of questionable quality, and also have a lower completion rate than standard, "brick and mortar" based university programs. They are also often quite expensive.

In NYC alone, you have some very strong undergraduate English/Creative writing programs. Check out the following:

New York University
Columbia
Barnard
CUNY Baruch
The New School

Undergraduate to Master in Journalism?

We Answered:

When you are accepted into a school call or e-mail your academic adviser and ask them what classes you need to take in order to be accepted into these programs. The adviser will be able to e-mail or mail you the information you need. They are there to help you make academic decisions so that you can graduate. These programs will be offered at most public universities and are usually fairly easy to get into. You should be just fine! Don't worry about anything! I hope this helps!
