Perjury (and all criminal offences) are covered by the Criminal Code of Canada, which is federal legislation, and the same in all Provinces.

Perjury specifically is covered by sections 131, 132. 136 is related, and has to do with giving contradictory evidence.

"132. Every one who commits perjury is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years."

1) always use your real name when submitting.
2) post some of your poetry here for point-blank, down and dirty critiquing.
3) develop a tough skin for the rejection slips...they make good wallpaper.
4) when you think you're really ready, net poetrykit.org...but not now...editors can tear you apart, or be nice...make sure you have a tough skin first.
5) learn 'patience' as fast as you can...some say 'response in 2 weeks', then at the 2nd month you may contact them....
