That is, and this is a really basic example, if there was a poem about how much you love your dog, the title would do best to be about the emotion--love--and the nature of love than it would to be about the dog. And it shouldn't be immediately obvious as to why the work was given its name--sometimes, the reader keeps reading if only to figure out exactly what the title means. Where the Red Fern Grows, if you've ever read that. (Ah, elementary school memories.) So...

Have pretty adjectives

Don't describe something immediately obvious to the reader
