Creative Writing Summer

Walter Said:

(Harry Potter fans) Creative writing class summer work. please help.?

We Answered:

Snape is the best written character in the books! Be careful how will you capture him!
He is a loyal man (to Dumbledore). He is a lonely man but NEVER shows it. He doesn't like people interfering in his personal life. He plays the bad guy and is good to Slytherins because of his role as a spy. He had a rough childhood and that scared him for life. He smirks a lot. He is brilliant. He loves to read. He hates human stupidity. He is very strict. He is not fond of kids. He is mysterious. You never know who he really is. You will never fully understand him.

Good luck with your fanfiction :)

Affordable/Non-profit/Volunteer-based Creative Writing Summer Camp?

We Answered:

I did this once, a long time ago. I volunteered at a local day camp for kids of working parents. It was an excellent experience. We published a magazine at the end of the summer. The kids really loved it. And the parents were so proud of the magazine.

You could always do this on your own at a church summer day camp, after-school program or at the 'YMCA, Girl Scouts, or Boys/Girls Club.

interlochen summer camp creative writing?

We Answered:

Yay!

You may want to bring a couple of things you've already written, because there is a group reading before classes start. All of the Intermediate and High School division students meet in the Writing House and have the opportunity to read something of their own or something by another writer. However, I think you'll find that after a week or so, everything you've written so far looks...different? Not bad, necessarily, but different.

I don't know if you're in the Intermediate or High School division. If you're in high school, you bring your laptop, which probably has all of your best stuff saved anyway. Also bring a full-size (180+ pages would be nice) spiral notebook, plenty of writing utensils, etc.

Interlochen will send you a list of suggested equipment for uniforms and regular camp stuff.
