Homeschooling- Good Creative writing projects for my Homeschooled daughter? We Answered:
I am home schooling my 15 year old daughter and have found a wonderful Creative Writing program called Connect the Thoughts. It is available by instant download from the following homeschool E-Store:http://www.currclick.com/index.php?affil…
Before we started using Connect the Thoughts, my daughter didn't want to write at all. She had such a bad time in school (nothing she ever did was good enough for the teachers) that she just didn't want to write. We have since completed Connect the Thoughts Writing I and she is writing up a storm! She now wants to write her own stories just for fun.
The CTT courses are written by a professional writer/actor who is home schooling his son. The course comes in separate sections:
Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, and several Professional Masters Level courses (eg. Screenwriting, Non-Fiction, Novels and Poetry, PR & Marketing)
It isn't necessary to use Level 2 unless your student is very young, or has a really hard time coming up with ideas. Most students can progress from Creating Writing 1 to Level 3. That's what we have done.
You can check out the courses at the Connect the Thoughts website too:
http://www.connectthethoughts.net/
If you have any questions about the courses, there is a Yahoo Group that you can join. The author of Connect the Thoughts is there on a regular basis and will answer any questions you might have. There is also lots of home schooling families who will try to help as well.
Happy homeschooling!

Need an idea for a Creative Writing project incorporating graphics and text?We Answered:
How about a digital essay. You use windows movie maker and add pictures and text. I did one for a college english class and it was so much fun and easy to do.Thelma Said:
What should I do for my creative writing project? We Answered:
Maybe like something that has to do with something you enjoy doing.. Some examples might be: a microphone if you like to sing, a paint brush or blank canvas if you like to create art, etc....Hope that helped! :)
