Unless you have a rigorous college prep curriculum with four years of math and science, at least 2 years of a foreign language, and some AP, IB or other honors classes for good measure, you shouldn't get too over-confident with your 3.9 GPA. Colleges know how to recalculate them in order to make comparisons between high school programs. Median SAT scores for Ivy League applicants is in the mid 700s.
