Creative Writing Plot

Patsy Said:

i need plot ideas for a creative writing story.?

We Answered:

ominous... human mind.. how about a narrative by a psychopath...

You would have to look into what kinds of things psychopaths think and do.. but after that you could easily set up a psychological thrill in your roughly eight pages.

i need a short plot or scenario for a creative writing story?

We Answered:

You'll have to base it off the picture, so how could you have a story beforehand?

I guess it could be something like a story about a journey, or a story about a person or a thing's life.
For example, if there was a picture of a table setting, you could have a story about a girl who was late for dinner and tell about all these different obstacles she encountered on her way there. Or if there was a picture of a man and his daughter crossing the street, you could have a story about their day out together; where they went; where they're going; maybe make something up for why the mother wasn't with them?

You just have to be creative with it and come up with anything, even if its silly or doesn't make much sense. Teachers usually like to see imaginative and very creative answers in things like this, so you could even add something fantastical like aliens or mummies... or unicorns!

Charlene Said:

What are attributes of a creative writing?

We Answered:

Creativity. Free thinking. You should develop your own characters, plot and theme without trying to emulate another author. As far as theme, it is best when the subject has some meaning to you. You can use a story to make a statement. What I see here a lot is what I call JKRowlingitis - too many kids trying to emulate JK Rowling or Stephanie Meyer. Every story has to have a wizard school or vampires and werewolves. Creativity comes from the mind. To paraphrase Stephen King from On Writing (only because I cannot find the quote in the book! ) There is no such thing as a plot store or character warehouse where you can just go and pick some up. It has to be from inside you. Pax-C
