You can specify the length of your work and, in some cases, information such as genre, and the site will show you a list of publications that are looking for writing that fits that description. Duotrope will also provide you with a link to the publisher's web site. From there, look for a link that says "Submissions" or "Submit" or "Information for Writers." That will take you to a page with the publication's guidelines, and there you will get precise instructions about how to prepare and send in your manuscript for consideration.
