You yourself have used metaphors in your suggestions about what you want to include, so I'm not sure you know what a metaphor is, because you say you don't want to use them. I could be more help if I knew what you were writing about.

"Plop Went Sunshine"

Sunshine:" 3) If you could stop blabbering long enough and listen to me....... Now...... It's quite simple. I am very lucky at cards, you see. Jeeeeeest dang lucky."
Dusty Old Drunken Cowhand:" You ain't LUCKY!!! 4) Rules are rules and you're a' cheatin' me!!!! Hic."
Sunshine:"5) You dare to question ME?? Whyyyyyyy EVERYONE knows I'm as honest as the day is long!"

Miss Kitty watched from a corner table as the cowhand and Sunshine argued. Kitty mumbled to no one in particular.....
" 6) Lovely lying lips...that' will be the name of my next novel...Sunshine couldn't POSSIBLY be THAT lucky!!!" Then aloud she shrieked : "Hey! Sunshine!! The only time you were lucky is when you stole Matt away from me. You must have caught him on one of those rare days that he and I didn't see eye-to-eye!!" Snickers could be heard throughout the saloon, for the townsfolk of Dodge knew that Miss Kitty and the elusive U.S. Marshal Dillon were NOT a match made in heaven.

Sunshine took her intense glare away from her accuser to Kitty. "Listen up, you redhead from a bottle!!! I'm a little busy here!! Mind shutting your trap for a moment or two?!"

The drunken,angry cowboy had had enough. He swung a mighty fist. PLOP Went Sunshine!!

Matt Dillon saw all of this as he came through the swinging doors of the Long Branch. He ran to Sunshine,tripping over Kitty's out-stretched leg.

Kitty:" OH! MY! GAAAAAAAAWD!!!!!!!" She watched as her foot swelled to twice it's normal size!!

Matt chased the cowhand around the Long Branch . In his efforts to get away from Matt, the frightened cowhand flew over the bar, slamming into the mirror.

Kitty:" First he breaks my foot and then he breaks my brand new mirror. It came all the way from San Francisco, DAMN IT!!!!"

Matt lifted Sunshine in his arms. "Sunny? Sunny! Can you hear me?!"

Sunshine opened one eye....." Well....hello there, stranger. Do me a favor, would ya? 2) Sheriff McDooly...call Sheriff McDooly...QUICK!!!!! They're fightin' in the Long Branch!"

Matt:"SUNNY!! It's ME.....MATT!"

Sunshine asked to be put down as she stared up at the tall lawman. " "Hey, cutie. Care to dance?"

Matt:"DANCE? What the...."

Sunshine:" 1) What's wrong with the hokey-pokey...???... it's FUN!!"

Matt:"Someone get Doc!!! I think she's had a concussion!!"

As Kitty cut the shoe from her swollen foot....."YEAH!!! And you may want to let him know that my damn foot is about to fall off!!!!"
Matt looked over at her."You okay, Kitty?"
Kitty: "GET A LAWYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Meanwhile Sunshine, dazed and staggering....." I am soooooooooooo hungry. Think I'll jest mosey on over to Domenico's." She looked at Kitty. "Hey! Lady with the banchee-like voice....wanna join me?"

Matt: "Will someone PLEASE get Doc?!!"

Walking very wobbly and looking VERY cross-eyed, Sunshine tapped on Kitty's shoulder....7)" Rice pilaf and chicken Paillard my sweet??"

Three cowboys needed to restain Kitty.
