Yolanda Said:
I want to take so many classes that are not in major, what should I do?We Answered:
You should definately explore any area of study that interests you. It's the only way you'll ever know what you like. That said, there's a program at most colleges and community colleges called "continuing education", "personal enrichment", or "lifelong learning" that offers many of those classes and does so much cheaper than your college tuition. This is particularly true of the arts and languages courses.
Check with your local community college and see if they sponsor a community education program that has such classes. An example (where I live) is: http://www.hgtc.edu/int_y.php?pageid=62 They are WAY cheaper than a college class, teach you as much (or more), and won't effect your GPA if you happen to do poorly.
Don't lose track of your degree getting goal though - it's easy to become a "jack of all trades - master of none" and then wonder where to get a job.
